Caravan Park / Resort

Consisting of 39 acres aproximately 150 metres wide by 1000 metres deep. The property is freehold and extends to crown land which surrounds Lake Bonney therefore giving direct lake access. Current buildings include Caretakers Cottage, Ladies and Gents toilets and showers and a disabled shower and toilet, Sauna and Massage area, Kiosk, Camp Kitchen, Bar-B-Que area, Recreation Hall and a small Winery along with a cellar, a Workshop and under cover parking for 6 vehicles including a tractor.

Vineyard and Winery

There is a 56,000 kl water allocation which waters approximately 6 acres of grapes which are contracted to BRL Hardy by means of a 15 year 'Rolling Contract' and nets approximately $30,000 per annum. There are several varieties of grapes which are used for winemaking and products produced on the property, being very popular with our patrons. Wines made on the property are stored in the Cellar which is also on the property.

Wildlife Refuge

The whole property is part of the 'Bookmark Biosphere' and was South Australias 20th wildlife refuge. Meanwhile Lake Bonney at the bottom of the park is in for major redevelopment since it has been confirmed that rare tortoises are breeding in that particular area. It is hoped that a breeding santuary will soon be developed. A 'Corridors of Green', government assisted project is also the subject of ongoing development at the park.
