Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Loxton.The Rotary Club of Loxton Inc, was chartered in 1958 and is one of more than 50 Rotary Clubs in Rotary International District 9520.


Weekly meetings are held at 6:30 pm each Wednesday evening during a meal at the Loxton Hotel Motel.


A short business session is conducted, with reports from Officers and Directors and then a guest speaker addresses the meeting.


Guest speakers cover a wide range of topics, ranging from information about Rotary programs to items of topical or local interest.


Occasionally meetings are held at other locations and times.


ACTIVITIES of the LOXTON CLUB include -


Conducting an Opportunity Shop.


Planning and working on town beautification projects, both as an individual club and jointly with other organizations.


Carrying out fund raising activities, such as making and selling hamburgers at town functions.


Encouraging "Pride of Workmanship' in local businesses, by giving annual awards.


Supporting local schools and disadvantaged groups.


Supporting student exchange between Australia and other countries, creating goodwill and understanding between nations.


Participating in world-wide Rotary projects and helping less fortunate persons achieve a better lifestyle by contributing to special Rotary programs with money, goods or services.
