Tenancy Support

Riverland Respite provides a range of support options for people living independently in the community.

Assistance can be provided in the following ways:-

·                 Independent Living Skills

·                 Budgeting

·                 Shopping

·                 Cooking

Tenancy support gives clients the opportunity to increase their independence, make informed decisions (taking into account dignity of risk) and being accepted in community life generally.

 Community Access

Families can have their child access scouts, guides, swimming lessons etc. by using a respite worker to support him/her to attend. In turn, families are receiving “respite’. All access costs are the responsibility of the family
