Respite & Recreation Service Inc
. is a not for profit non-government agency
that provides a range of respite & recreation
opportunities for people with a disability and their
families living within the Riverland
Region.
The Service can help
families by:
Arranging respite at our Centre Based
Respite facility, "Respite House" in
Renmark.
Arranging respite
in your home.
Arranging respite in a Support Worker's Home.
Providing a
variety of sporting and recreation activities on
weekends, weeknights and during the school
holidays.
Providing a Day Options Program for
students who have left school.
Providing an Accommodation
Service
The
Riverland Respite & Recreation Service Inc. aims to provide
support which is developmental in nature and flexible to
meet the family's needs.
Trained and Skilled Support Workers are
employed to support clients. On induction to the
Service a Police Check is carried out on all Support
Workers.
All Staff
have the following qualifications;
