Meet the crew

Allan & Fleur Carthew, both retired school teachers whose love of the river and desire to show other people it's beauty inspired them to start the business in 1995. Allan is a master mariner class 5 and an accredited Bookmark guide. He is well versed in the ecology and history of the region and provides a commentary during the cruise. Fleur is an accomplished and experienced cook interested in creating food using local regional produce. She personally organises all of the food used for cruises and functions.
