How I built the 12 inch scope
First grind

Here are all the parts to the kit. All the plywood is 12mm, this is by no means overkill, rigidity is paramount but weight and C of G have to be watched.

The glass before I start grinding with the angle grinder. I have marked the center underneath with black marker.

Well here we go. Safety is also paramount. Here I have an air mask to avoid breathing in glass dust and the welding mask and glasses to stop any glass splinters from going into my face.
I wanted the mirror to be about f5, it is a bit more work but easier to figure at the end. This mirror is referred to, as a fast mirror while an f10 mirror is a slow mirror. The sagitta (depth) of the f5 has to be 3.81mm. In the angle grinder stage I wanted to go down to 1.5mm.
