Aerial Photography

It might have been when my Dad took me out to the flying field to learn to fly control line. I could see how much fun it was, especially when he fell over, dizzy.
I wanted to learn more about these boxes with the antenna out the top which looked a lot more fun.
Here's me, the camera plane, and my pit crew, Julie.

It's not a stupid posed shot, I'm setting up the flaps, with Julie calling the action. It has a Royal 46 up front.
I wish I could still get those engines.

Anyway, time passed, and I've worked with aircraft, helos, and rockets. They all have their attractions in different ways. But I've recently spent most time with aircraft.

But, I wanted to do something other than just fly around. So, after spending many hours flying my first plane, a Bobcat, I designed this one, complete with built-in camera facility.

So, off you go, and enjoy my first air photography efforts!

How it Started
I've been having so much fun with my remotely operated small aircraft I thought I'd try and motivate all you who would like to, but haven't got around to it!
My latest adventures involved designing a camera carrying aircraft, and setting it up!

Below are links to some of the pics. There are 3 pics per page, and they are cropped, but normal size, and should have acceptable load times. Plus, check out my other interest, model rocketry.

Here is a picture of the camera plane performing a low pass before the start of another assent.
