Chris Pearce is the Kancho (Chief Instructor) of Chidokan Australia Karate do and was appointed to this position in 1978 by the head of the Asian Pacific region, Kancho Jack Sims (8th Dan). Chidokan teaches the Shotokan style of karate. He has studied martial and healing arts for over thirty-seven years and is currently graded Chidokan Seventh Dan. He also holds Teaching rank in Taiji and qigong. He has lived and trained all over the world, in Japan, Thailand, France, Germany and Greece where he studied and taught martial and healing arts. He is a registered Doctor of Acupuncture, life member of the International Acupuncture Society of Hong Kong, is a qualified masseur/bodyworker registered in Hawaii, a Reiki Master and a registered practitioner of Energy Manipulation and Qigong. Chris shares his knowledge at Dojos throughout Australia and sits on the Grading panel of the IKA. He holds periodical courses in many different modalities at his home in Renmark.
