CLUB MEMBERS REDTAIL
The
Riverland Birdkeepers Club was first formed in September 1978 and since
evolved through its affiliated stage as a branch of the The Avicultural
Society of Australia to its current position as a stand alone identity.
It consists of a group of 150+ members who hold meetings monthly
to
discuss issues and activities that involve aviculture.
In
the past 12 months the club has tripled in size.
Has
its own Marquee for shows and a service items trailer.
Members
range from those who have hundreds of aviaries through to
members
who have just one or two birds, but all members share one common interest;
the
joy of keeping and breeding of birds.
Species
kept range from Macaws through to the pet canary.
